As you step out onto the long walkway leading to the jetty, you can’t help but marvel at the tranquillity of the surroundings. The river is calm, its surface reflecting the early morning light like a mirror. As you take a deep breath, your lungs fill with the crisp air, and you set off down the walkway.

The jetty stretches out into the river, offering a stunning view of the water and the surrounding landscape. After a leisurely stroll along the jetty, you make your way back to the house. Noticing the balcony overlooking the river, with a braai and hammock set up for the day – the ideal spot to relax and take in the view. As you settle into the hammock, feel the gentle sway as you gaze over the river. The water is calm, with the occasional ripple breaking the surface while the call of fish eagles fills the air. As the sun begins to set, light the braai, and settle in to watch the sky change colours, the river glowing in the fading light. Four rooms span the property, one with a king size bed, others with doubles and singles. A family room with a double bed, single bed and double-bunk completes the resting spaces.
