The farm sits on 670 hectares of remarkable farmlands, which you can explore to your heart’s content.
A place that welcomes those childlike ways of barefoot, fancy-free frolicking, through the wild gardens, along the gravel road to the dam in and out of the water. A place where the sentiment of happiness being best when shared, reigns true.
Relax in the shade of the patio or the hot and cold outdoors bathtub with panoramic 360-degree views. Or, in winter, curl up in front of the closed-combustion (“morso”) fireplace whilst reading or playing card games. Go for a run or stroll down to the river – the views and vegetation are worth the effort. Guests may also choose to canoe on the farm dam, cycle through the farmlands.
A beautifully appointed bedroom – with a lounge area with fireplace flowing into the open plan kitchen. The patio entertaining space consists of a shaded braai area, reclining chairs and a 4-seater dining area.
Every day there’s something different and exciting to explore. And that’s the fun of it. When you’re not about the house and its panoramic views, it’s onto the water to perfect those water-skiing tricks, tackle the fishing rods, climb aboard the sails, the rubber ducks, the tubes and SUP’s, and simply let the rapids of the river do the entertaining – the beach area is one of its kind on the Breede River which leans to hours of fun for kids. When it’s time to leave Inhoek farm, there’s a side of you that will not join you on the journey home. It’ll wait patiently by the river, with the bishops and the bulrushes, the falcons and the fish eagles, until you return.
