Van Eeden House is a double story house with a large enclosed living area overlooking the river, a welcoming sight with vast vistas of the Potberg Mountains and the Breederiver. The large garden stretches to your private jetty. A place that welcomes those childlike ways of barefoot, fancy-free frolicking on the lawn, under the trees, along the wooden walkway and in and out of the water. A place where the sentiment of happiness being best when shared, reigns true.
Every day there’s something different and exciting to explore. And that’s the fun of it. When you’re not about the house and its myriad spaces, it’s onto the water to perfect those water-skiing tricks, tackle the fishing rods, tubing the wakes or SUP’s, and simply let the tides of the river do the entertaining. When it’s time to leave van Eeden House there’s a side of you that will not join you on the journey home. It’ll wait patiently by the river, with the bishops and the bulrushes, the falcons and the fish eagles, until you return.
The house can accommodate 8 people with spacious rooms and a large communal living area, pool table and fireplace. The open plan kitchen is well appointed. The outdoor space has a Lapa.
